I believe that all of us can ignite a passion for learning, inspire change, and find innovative ways to reach students. I am beginning a new role as Innovation Specialist and I am looking forward to the exciting journey that lies ahead. For the past 13 years, I have taught elementary school in Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Each year, each state, and each student have brought different learning experiences and opportunities. However, the importance of developing relationships with students and colleagues has always been a common thread. These relationships are the foundation for learning, both ours and our students.I love learning and gaining new ideas. I feel that the best way to do this is to open our doors.
